No Kings 3: Signs of Hope

No Kings 3 was the largest single day protest in American history. Thanks to TWENTY TWO rallies all over San Diego County, the event also set a record in San Diego with ~90k participants. The picture above was taken from a visiting Cruise Ship, and shows just how massive these rallies for democracy have become. It takes courage to show up in a tense political moment like this, and the American people are answering the call. Check out this amazing recap video from FrameShift Productions:

The social activist radio station KNSJ also put together a fantastic audio program showcasing the NK3 speakers, interspersed with remarks from various attendees. Listen to the very end to hear a mention of San Diego United!

To learn more about the program speakers check out the main event page. To learn about what actions to take now that the event is over, check out the recommended actions page.

The event was covered extensively by local and national media, such as the Union Tribune. Coverage in legacy media is important, but it's only one facet of the broader strategy. For example the event featured a massive collection of partners across a diverse spectrum of activist organizations.

Please visit the event partners page to learn more about each partner. If you like what you see, click through to the linked website and join them!

But let's now turn to the most important part of this event: YOU. The people of San Diego rolled up their sleeves, crafted their signs, and showed up to FIGHT for our democracy. These are signs of courage. These are signs of justice. These are signs of FREEDOM.

Last, a BIG thank you to all the incredible volunteers. Nobody was paid- people from across San Diego showed up because they believe in the best of America: democracy, civil rights, freedom, and the POWER OF THE PEOPLE UNITED.
