Description

Recent news reports demonstrate that immigration related arrests are up 1,500% in San Diego. ICE may have changed their media strategy, but ICE has not changed their lawlessness and abuse. This must end. Join your fellow San Diegans for a town hall highlighting what the county, city, and organizations in San Diego are doing to combat ICE's abuse of our neighbors, and how to get involved. We will learn about the "Big Picture" context, important policies and safety measures, and discover ways to push back on ICE's abuse. You do not have to be an “activist” to join this event. Just an average San Diegan who is worried about ICE and wants to protect ALL San Diego residents from their lawlessness.

Speaking Panel

Sean Elo-Rivera - City Councilmember
Terra Lawson-Remer - County Supervisor
Pedro Rios - Director of the American Friends Service Committee's US/Mexico Border Program.
