May Day is more than a date on the calendar. It's our day.
For more than a century, workers around the world have taken to the streets on May 1 to demand dignity, justice, and power. This year, we bring that tradition home to San Diego.
Join the San Diego & Imperial Counties Labor Council, our affiliated unions, and community allies for a powerful rally and march to celebrate the working class and demand a world that works for all of us—not just billionaires and politicians who serve them.
We are organizing. We are striking. We are building power in our workplaces and our communities. May Day is our reminder that when we stand together, we win.
🕓 4:00 PM – RALLY at the County Building @ Waterfront Park We gather. We chant. We get loud. Listen to speakers, then take action with SEIU 221 SD County workers.
🚶🏼➡️🚶🏾♀️➡️🚶🏿➡️ MARCH to the Federal Building Drums. Signs. Solidarity. We take our message to the place where we hold ICE OUT OF SAN DIEGO every week.

The AI billionaires and the Trump administration are rigging the economy against us. They want to replace our jobs with machines, surveil our communities, and strip us of our rights. They attack our immigrant siblings. They attack our unions. They attack our democracy.
On May Day, we say: Workers will prevail.
